“I want to go home with Cash,” I say.

“Do it!” she squeals. “I keep trying to get West’s attention, but he keeps looking at you. If you leave with Cash, maybe he’ll give me a second look.”

“Don’t be silly,” I say as I pull some gloss out of my clutch to try to make my lips look irresistible. “He’s totally interested in you.”

“I can’t believe Cash Maddox, West Sellers, and Kellan Halstead are here!” she squeals again.

“Let’s get more tequila and maybe I can tell Cash you’re interested in West,” I suggest.

“No! Don’t do that! I don’t want to seem desperate!”

I try not to giggle at that. I don’t want to be the one to break it to her that it’s far too late for that.

We head back to the table, and we have fresh tequila in our glasses when “Summer” by Calvin Harris starts blasting through the speakers. I grab Ashley’s hand and start dancing with her next to our table, still holding onto my tequila with the other hand.

A second later, I feel Cash as he moves in behind me. One of his hands lowers on my hips, and his front is pressed to my back. I shimmy around a little, pushing back into him, and I can feel it. His dick.

He’s hard.

And big.

We both know what this is. He didn’t invite me to the club tonight so we could harmlessly flirt a little more and then part ways. He invited me here to make me feel a little more comfortable. So we could get to know each other a little better before he offers to take me back to his place.

I may be naïve and young, but I know what I want. And right now, I want Cash Maddox.

His fingertips dig into my hips a little, and my God, I want those fingertips all over my body, skating across my skin, pushing inside me, clutching onto me as I ride him.

Oh, God. I think I might climax right here just dancing with him.

I turn around, and I face him to dance with him a little more closely. I can smell him this close, his fresh, masculine scent attacking my senses and calling to me on a visceral level.

I pull out some of my best moves, gyrating to the song as my boobs brush against his chest and I feel his leg come between mine until I’m practically humping his leg.

I tilt my chin up a little and meet his eyes with mine, and I’m caught off guard by his attractiveness every time. A tremor of excitement runs up my spine.

He wants me. Out of all the women here at this club, the women here in Vegas, the hockey fans, anyone in the entire world that he could have…he’s interested in me, the twenty-two-year-old virgin.

I’m not questioning it. Instead, I’m going with it. I’m giving into the feeling, giving into this magnetic attraction between us, because it feels like I have no other choice.

His eyes flick from mine down to my lips, and an ache pulls between my legs as the need for him to kiss me becomes nearly unbearable.

He leans forward, and his lips brush against my neck close to my ear. His breath is hot when he murmurs, “I want to kiss you.”

Holy hell, I’m going to combust right here. Or melt. One or the other. I’m sure of it.

Instead of telling him to just fucking do it already, I play the game.

“Just kiss?” I ask innocently.

He pulls back, surprised, and he smirks. “I was trying to be a gentleman.”

“Don’t be on my account,” I murmur. “I didn’t ask for a gentleman.”

“Fuck, Ivy,” he groans, and I can tell he’s just as affected as me. It’s a battle of wills to see who’s going to give in first.

“Tell me what you want,” I goad. I take a sip of tequila to try to cool down, knowing full well it’s going to have the opposite effect. So far, it seems to be horny juice. Pure and simple. A little tequila, and I want to drop my panties for Cash Maddox. Though, to be fair, I wanted to do that long before the tequila.

And also, to be fair, I’ve had more than a little at this point.
