Dreams Of Fate

by T.D. Edwards

I’m swept out of the dream, and I blink. Archer’s chest is rising steadily. I don’t sense any bad energy in his dreams, so I hold him tighter and close my eyes.

Some things never change, and I say, “Please, no more dreams.”

I'll dissect the discussion I heard in the morning.

“Baby,” Archer says roughly.

“Mmm…” I wiggle my ass deeper against his body, and he groans.

I slept peacefully. I woke up, but couldn’t bring myself to open my eyes. I’m floating, tempted to go back to sleep.

“You awake?” he asks, his breath tickling my ear.

My brain is slowly waking, but my body is tingling. “Yeah.” I straighten my legs and rub one against his.

“You need to get up,” he says.

“Why?” I whisper.

“We have things to do.” He grips my hip. “The longer you press your ass against me, the harder it will be to leave the bed.”

“Is it my ass or what my ass is rubbing against?” I smile, all of my systems firing.

“Both.” His fingers tighten. “I love your ass. I’ve wanted my hands on it since we met.”

“It would be a shame if I didn’t grant your wish,” I say, leaning further back and sliding my hand to his thigh.

“Wild One,” he hums, and moves his hand to my stomach.

I groan, and he trails his hand down. As his fingers crawl under my panties, I tilt my hips, asking for his touch. I know I’m wet and ready. I hold my breath, waiting for him to give me what I want. It seems like forever, yet it’s only seconds before he slides his finger inside me. He moves steadily, and I bite my lip, enjoying the motion.

“Archer,” I rasp, and he gains speed.

“Right here, baby.” He nips my ear, and I melt.

His palm rubs against my clit, and I gasp as my body responds in wonderful ways. I adjust my hips forward and move my hand, sliding it underneath his shorts. Grasping him, I stroke in short movements, matching the rhythm of his fingers. He growls, and the sound causes my desire to rise. Curling his other arm, he cups my breast, pulling me back against him.

“Please,” I breathe, not knowing what I’m asking for.

“More?”

“Yes.” I hiss, and he speeds up. I hear distant knocking. “Someone’s here.”

“I don’t give a fuck,” he says roughly.

I get closer to the edge.

“Archer,” I whimper, squeezing him.

“Get there, baby.”

“Come with me,” I plead.

Whoever is knocking could be telling me the world is on fire, and I wouldn’t care.

They can wait.
