“If I find out you took that seventeen thousand from anything that was supposed to be for this household, we gonna have a whole different fucking problem.”
He stared at me.
I stared right back.
“Believe that.”
Then I walked my ass into the kitchen before I said something worse.
HEATHER
I had just got home from Freckles because the bitch was fucking back.
Well, technically, I had just got home from picking Collin up from Destiny’s because I obviously couldn’t take my damn newborn to the strip club with me.
She’d kept him while I worked, which she didn’t mind because Destiny was obsessed with her godson anyway. By the time I got to her place, this bitch had him laid across her chest like she had birthed him herself.
“You know you gotta give me my baby back, right?” I had asked.
Destiny rolled her eyes. “Unfortunately.”
“Unfortunately?”
“He likes it here.”
“He can’t fucking talk.”
“He told me.”
“Give me my child.”
She laughed before kissing all over his little face and finally handing him over.
Now we were home, Collin knocked out from the ride, and I was starving because going back to Freckles had reminded me how fucking hungry that place made me.
My doctor already told me no pole activities until after Thanksgiving, and even then I needed to be cleared before I started throwing my ass around like I ain’t just push a whole human out of my body.
But I was back in the club.
Back in my element.
Back around my bitches.
Back being that bitch.
And honestly?
I needed that shit.
Walking into Freckles earlier had felt like coming up for air after being trapped in my house with leaking titties, diapers, bottles and a nigga who popped in to see his son whenever it fit into his fucking schedule.
The second I walked through the club, Taty damn near screamed.
“BIIIIITCH!”
I barely got my coat off before she ran over.
“Oh my God! Look who decided to come outside!”
