He laughed but went.
Turned out to be Kiana.
Fine ass.
She walked into my kitchen carrying a pan with both hands.
“I brought yams.”
“You cooked?”
She looked at me.
“Fuck you.”
I laughed and took the pan.
“I’m asking.”
“Yes, nigga, I cooked, my mama taught me something.”
“I ain’t say she didn’t.”
She looked around at all the food.
“Damn. Y’all feeding the fucking neighborhood?”
“Apparently.”
“I can’t stay. I’m going to my mom’s. I just wanted to show love for the family.”
“I appreciate it.”
She leaned in and kissed the side of my cheek.
