Except for Sonatina, who is sulking and has no idea about any of the rules.

“You get to choose first,” he tells her.

“Thank you.” Lennon sways a little as her gaze lifts.

“But then...” he lets it hang in the air. “You must spin. And it becomes group’s choice.”

“O-okay.” Lennon tugs at her long sleeves.

“So where do you want to be kissed?”

“Um.” She looks like a deer in headlights. Frozen. With a truck coming at her fast.

“Hand.” I help her out. She’s way too innocent and awkward for this game. “Arm. Knee.”

“Neck,” she squeaks.

“Neck it is.” Bronx puts his hand on her shoulder.

He hooks a finger into her collar and draws it away to reveal a tiny bare area of skin at the base of her neck.

Her eyes flutter shut. No doubt to hide that she’s mortified.

Bending his head, he presses his mouth to that spot. It’s all very chaste and over quickly. Bronx steps back. She sways and opens her eyes.

He hands her the bottle. “Your turn.”

She puts the bottle on the floor and gives it a nervous spin. It only turns once before it lands on Kodiak.

He walks in to meet her.

She glances to me, like she’s seeking reassurance.

Kodiak puts his hands in his back pockets. “What will it be, then?”

“On the mouth,” Riot says.

“Mouth?” Golden looks from Bronx to me. We both nod. He spares Sonatina a glance but doesn’t wait for her answer. “Mouth it is.”

Lennon touches her lips. “I’m not sure.”

“That’s okay.” Kodiak seems relieved as he turns to go back to his seat.

“B-but... I... I think... I would like to play.” That last part is said so fast and quiet that I’m not sure I heard her correctly.

Until Kodiak faces her. “Are you sure?”

Her gaze dips before it climbs again. “Yes... I think so.”

Sonatina starts tapping her foot. “Can you stop wasting everyone’s time, Lennon? You really are being ridiculous.”

“That’s enough,” Riot snaps at her.

At least he can stand up to her when it comes to her poor assistant.

“Can I?” Kodiak gestures at Lennon’s mouth.

She nods. Her lips part. Her cheeks turn rosy.
